NEW HOSPITALITY RULES AT BOUNDARY MEADOW

Torrisholme CC • 16 April 2021

New Hospitality rules at Boundary Meadow
We need to make our supporters, parents and players aware of some changes ahead of the new season which gets underway tomorrow (Saturday 17 April 2021).

We've had some enquiries about whether or not spectators can attend the games at Boundary Meadow. Hopefully, the below will help clarify the situation...

According to the ECB guidance, spectators are not currently permitted at cricket grounds. What is allowed, however, is the use of outdoor hospitality during matches.

Therefore you can come down and watch the cricket providing you are purchasing a drink (hot, cold or alcohol) and are seated at all times in our outside hospitality area. There is to be no walking round the boundary for example. The bar will be open during and after the game on Saturday and Sunday.

Our outside hospitality area is located outside the club house. Please do not move the benches and stay in groups of 6 people or two households. All people using hospitality must also either scan the clubs QR code (Poster can be found on the rear of the 'net cage signpost' and HERE) or you must sign in for track and trace with a member of the bar team.

Drinks and light snacks can be ordered by table service only and payments can be by card or cash (card preferred). The clubhouse toilets will be available for use by those using the clubs outside hospitality area. Please follow the signposted one-way route to reach them (see map below). Masks must be worn while indoors.

Home and Visiting Players
As per last season players must locate themselves in the designated areas for the 'Home' and 'Away' teams. Players must come dressed in whites and provide their own 'tea'. There will be sanitisation breaks every 6 overs. There will be no access to the changing rooms. However players and officials can use the toilet located in-between the changing rooms.

TCC Risk Assessment
The club has conducted a risk assessment for training and match-days and the full detail of which can be found HERE

Finally, as this is all new and different to the rules that were in place last season. Please be patient with us and remember all our coaches and bar staff are volunteers. Hopefully, this will just be for the next few weeks until stage 3 arrives, when hopefully we can get a bit closer to normality.

Alongside our previously announced main shirt sponsors Concrete2You , we are pleased to announce two more sponsorship deals agreed for the upcoming 2025 season and two charities we support... VolkerStevin Following our sponsors day last year, the money raised, plus this donation will provide a full set of club-owned T20 Kits. The shirts will carry the VolkerStevin logo www.volkerstevin.co.uk Our new navy training shirts will also carry the VolkerStevin branding for both seniors and juniors. VolkerStevin are widely regarded as one of the UK’s leading specialist contractors with a well-earned reputation for delivering technically challenging projects in complex operational environments, drawing on specialist capabilities to deliver integrated, multidisciplinary infrastructure solutions. We are once again looking for match ball sponsors for the forthcoming 2024 season. Become a Match Ball Sponsor for just £25.00 per game and support our club. Last season we spent over £1,700 on match balls across our senior sides and any sponsorship we can get in goes a long way to covering this cost. Balls are priced at £25.00 per game and sponsors will get coverage on the day of their specific match where they will feature on the club’s social media feeds and also on our club sponsor boards every week. Sponsors can include local businesses as well as families and individuals. All players are encouraged to make their best effort to get at least one match ball sponsor each. We cannot stress to our supporters enough how important fundraising like this is. If you would like to sponsor a match ball for the coming season you can do so by clicking HERE choosing from the remaining 1st XI and 2nd XI fixtures and making your payment. Along with social media posts, your name or business will be added to our Senior Fixture page under the relevant fixture. For any questions or queries please contact joe@torrisholmecc.co.uk #WeAreTCC
