BOOKINGS NOW OPEN...

Our Indoor Winter Net sessions have now been booked at Carnforth High, Sports Hall, LA5 9LS. Please note the change in venue from previous years. There is ample parking on site, with the sports hall accessed via a path from the car park.

The dates of which can be found below...

Senior Nets
8pm to 10pm (2 hours) on the following Sundays: 28th Jan, 4th Feb, 11th Feb and 18th Feb then
9pm to 10pm (1 hour) on
25th Feb, 3rd March, 17th March and 24th March
(avoiding Mother’s Day Sun 10th March)

These sessions are open to all senior and potential senior players, plus older juniors currently in school Year 10 and above. There is no need to book. Sessions are £5 per player, per session (payable on each night. Cash or card payment will be accepted).

However, if you'd like to reserve your place and pay for all 8 sessions (4x 2 hour, 4x 1 hour) in advance then you can, at a reduced cost of £35 (1 week free!).

Junior Nets

8pm to 9pm on the following Sundays:
25th Feb, 3rd March, 17th March and 24th March (again, avoiding Mother’s Day Sun 19th March).

These sessions are for boys who are currently in School Year 4 to Year 9 or girls in School Year 6 to Year 13. These are coached hard ball nets, if you are unsure if your child is capable of playing hardball, please speak to one of our coaches.

If your child has their own bat and protective kit (helmet/pads/gloves) please bring it along. For those without their own protective kit, the club will have a very limited amount to borrow. We do advise each boy to have their own ‘box’. Girls do not need a box, however female cricket abdo guards can be purchased from various online outlets.

All juniors, at a minimum, must bring their own bat and hard ball along to each net session. Younger juniors boys and girls (Year 4 to Year 8) should have a 4.75oz hard cricket ball (colts ball). Boys in Year 9 should now have a senior hard ball (5.5oz). Girls in Year 9 - 13 should have a 5oz women’s ball.

Any juniors in Year 9 who have represented the club in senior fixtures last season, will be expected to attend senior nets, not junior nets.

Cost is £27 per child for 4x coached sessions, payable in advance on the link below.

Please note: It is important that your child attends all sessions, if they cannot attend at least three please don't take a place in Junior nets from someone who can. These sessions are extremely popular and sell out fast. Bookings are on a first come, first served basis with a maximum of around 36 junior places available. In the event of over-subscription and your child missing out on a place, a full refund will be given.

Online Payments:

At checkout please state the PLAYERS NAME(S) in the “Full Name” box (NOT the parents name who may be paying!). Please enter the email and phone details in the 'Contact Info' box of the person paying (NOT the child). Please ensure you select “Pick up” in the relevant shipping method box and then enter the card holders details in the “Payment Method” box.

2023 Prize Winner Vouchers:

Those of you who won end of season awards, can simply use the unique code from the award, which will deduct the prize from the total. This is available once you reach the checkout page, drop the Discount Code Arrow, enter your code and click Apply. Unfortunately, multiple individual award winners may only use one discount code against indoor nets. There will be future opportunity to use other codes against annual subs or from the bar during the 2024 season. If you are a parent with multiple award winning children, it is best to do separate bookings to gain the discounts.

We are once again looking for match ball sponsors for the forthcoming 2024 season. Become a Match Ball Sponsor for just £25.00 per game and support our club. Last season we spent over £1,700 on match balls across our senior sides and any sponsorship we can get in goes a long way to covering this cost. Balls are priced at £25.00 per game and sponsors will get coverage on the day of their specific match where they will feature on the club’s social media feeds and also on our club sponsor boards every week. Sponsors can include local businesses as well as families and individuals. All players are encouraged to make their best effort to get at least one match ball sponsor each. We cannot stress to our supporters enough how important fundraising like this is. If you would like to sponsor a match ball for the coming season you can do so by clicking HERE choosing from the remaining 1st XI and 2nd XI fixtures and making your payment. Along with social media posts, your name or business will be added to our Senior Fixture page under the relevant fixture. For any questions or queries please contact joe@torrisholmecc.co.uk #WeAreTCC

The 2023 Junior Presentation Night was very well attended and we were blessed with a lovely night. The event started with the inauguration of a handsome bell and plaque in memory of much missed club umpire Malcolm Porter , his son Ashley and family were present to ring the bell in Malc's memory and a moving moment was witnessed by well over a hundred players, parents and coaches. Once again Aussie overseas Matt Cline was guest of honour, Matt is returning to Australia after the season and, unfortunately, he doesn't plan to return next year. He has become a friend to many at the club as well as being a wonderful player, we all wish him the very best for his future life and cricket back down under. Virtually all the prize winners were present at the event and the league winning Under 11 Hardball squad received their trophy from Matt. The Junior Clubman of the Year, or Lockwood Trophy as it is known, was once again awarded to long serving coach and player Sean McGuigan . Thanks to all who supported the junior section through another busy Summer, to groundsman Eddy Bayton for preparing all those wickets and to the bar team who kept us 'hydrated' through the season.
